According to my info the 10 ton is a model F and was renumbered the 75 when AC purchased Monarch in 1928. The model F is 60 HP. Monarch Tractor Company was founded in 1913. There is a picture of a restored 75 in the Giant Earthmovers an illustrated history. Strangely enough the owner of it is not too far away from me but I don't know him and the book was published in 1998. His name is Bill Senior of Ardrossan, Alberta Canada. Sorry don't have a number. I'm sure a good library or book store would have more pictures and info to help you. Dave

Didn't remember Monarch is listed in a 1930 McCord gasket catalog, but listings don't go by ton ratings; here they are if they're any help:
"C-20/30, E-25/40, D-35/60...Beaver JB";
"C-E-D-G. Rating 20/32-25/40-35/60..Beaver JC-JD";
"F. Rating 50.....Beaver RX-RY"
"H-50 Rating 40....Stearns DU". (I don't understand the C-E-D-G ratings; maybe one of the ratings applies to two models).
I started to send the various b/s's out of the same catalog, but it's confused, too: one line shows "Beaver Motor 4cyl Models JA and JB , 41/2x6, (one cyl head);
but the next line is "Beaver Motor 4-6 (cyl) Models JA-JB-JC-JD 41/2x6 and 43/4x6" with cyls cast in pairs (two or three heads, respectively);
the RX-RY line reads "Beaver Motor 4 and 6 (cyl) Models RX and RY 61/2x7", with cyls cast in pairs (2 or three heads). One could guess the RX is the 4 and the RY is the 6, but even if true, still leaves the JB confused.
The Stearns motor is no trouble: it isn't listed, which I would guess meant such low prod that McCord didn't carry the gaskets, but the Monarch section shows only need one head gasket, whatever it is. I'll check the motor lists in some other old catalogs to see if I can clarify any of the above. With sympathy, Bud

You may already have tried these:
A: Monarch was acquired by Allis-C, apparently in 1928, altho my notes show Monarch prod 'till 31 or so; have you tried contacting Allis for any historical tech info?
B: Don't over look the possibility, as in UStrac below, that company papers, including tech info or manuals, may've come into the collections of the local (Watertown, Wisc) public library or museums, especially technical or business-oriented museums. Good luck.
