While searching for a 2 cyl engine on San Francisco Craig's List, this crane came up. Here's the info if you want to look, pictures included. Go to: Craig's List, San Francisco. Select "San Francisco Bay Area".
Put in "2 cylinder engine". Search in "Tools".
Or maybe just "Crane" would work.

I'd hate to see it scrapped, but it probably will cost a small fortune to move it.

That's a big machine. I think it weighs around 100,000 lbs and about 12 ft wide. We have one at work, in good running condition. Used to run a clamshell dredge. It has a Cat D-8 engine. But you're right, it would be a shame to just let it go to scrap.
