I have a 1954 TD9 I am redoing, I was wondering if anyone knows how to wire the hour meter. I know it hitches to the oil pressure line, but where do I hitch it to get the power. Thanks Eddie Olive

Most of the older machines use mechanical oil pressure gauges..I'd go to NAPA or other suitable auto parts distributor and get a low pressure sending unit[ normally open ] with 2 terminals on it..Tee in to the oil port and install the sending unit [with the oil tube to the gauge]..Fuse the power into the sending unit and run the other wire to the hour meter and ground it on the negative side of the hour meter..
