have a 9050 b with a problem. the dash shows an electrical malfunction at times. when this happens the throttle control does not work, you have to push the manual switch to run all speeds. comes back to normal after a while

I went to school on the B series excavator when they first came out, but don't work for Case now. There are several things that might cause this. The wiring harness has several ground wires that connect to the frame any one of which might not be making a good connection. It is possible the problem is in your throttle motor,or even in the computer. There is a system check, but you will need the service manual to do it, and a good understanding of the system wouldn't hurt. If I remember correctly the system check only checks ten circuits, but the throttle is one of them. Any way, I'm sure you were hoping for a simple answer, but there probably isn't one for this. Or at least not that can be answered without doing some in depth checks.
