Had some time to play around with it some more today. Front hydraulic pump coupler is disconnected to rule out the pump. Starter turns engine about 1/4 inch when engaged then stops. Not able to turn crankshaft with breaker bar on the nut. There is some diesel in the oil about 1 inch above the top oil check mark on the dipstick. The engine bogged down and stalled when the rear of the machine was lifted about a foot to 18 inches off the ground. Is it possible that the high oil level from the added diesel in crankcase sloshed forward and may have gone into the front cylinders since the level was high. My next step is to take out the injectors and see if it will crank over. If that doesn't work I think theres only one other possibility (siezed engine). If it does turn over is there a trick to get whatever is in the top of the cylinders out. I will also change the oil and then try to find out how the fuel was getting in the crankcase.

Forgot to mention. There were no strange noises before this happened or at the time it happened. Would water in the fuel cause something like this to happen?

I think you will find a bad injector, the fuel on top of the piston will lock the engine
taking out the injetors will probably let you crank over. the fuel went past the rings
or yo may have a hole in a piston
