Anyone out there have experiance with the JD 772A Grader. I am thinking of buying one that looks to be in great shape and it has a Snow Wing also. It is scary though to think of the big bucks it would cost to go into that 8 speed tranny with the front wheel drive assist if repairs are needed. Thanks in advance for any input on this machine. One of my main customers has a fleet of them, Right now they have one setting because they can not find a poppet valve and some casting. I would agree I would look for something else.

Could get a bit scary...Most of the controls are electric over hydraulic and alot of those parts are obsolete as far as Deere is concerned.(solenoid controlled poppet valves-- was a "great idea" at the time but obviously never caught on) If someone with minimal electrical knowledge has gotten into it, it could be a nightmare.... The front drive is hydrostatic...but the control system for it can also be relly screwed up if someone tries bypassing things to get it to operate...Other than that try it out and see how it operates..
