I am haveing problems with that lever holding the hoe in the up position while not in use on my 580b case backhoe.Seems to break the 2 prongs that hook the hoe in the lock position when transporting.Have welded it 3 times now and even had the machine shop make a new one($250.00)and it even broke as soon as I hit a bump in the field.Any ideas on how to fix??Thanks for any help!Dave A

I would be looking for excessive play in the pins around the swing tower, something may be worn allowing the hoe to jump about, does the boom clyinder hold up with a load,if it dropping all the weight would be on the latch when in transport mode.
