Looking at a trailer that has a double frame with tires on the inside. It has short axles less than 3foot with two sets of leaf springs per a axle, 14 ply trailer house looking tires, two per a set, total 8 of them. Its a GN trailer

Think it will haul a D6B??? Thanks Mike

I looked at one like that once it had a gooseneck hitch on it but I would say it would hold a D5 at most. I agree with the first post though but I usually consider the loadrating on the tires only and figure the hitch to carry the trailer weight. Their were some axel's that looked like the house trailer ones but were legal, if I remember look at the rim size the house trailer axel's use an odd size rim like 15.5 insead of 15.

there are factory built trailers like that one made out there. I would look at the tires and see their weight rating. Then multiply by eight and you would have a good idea of the trailers gross wt rating. Remember you must subtract the trailers empty weight from that number but some of the weight will be carried on the front hitch putting that part of the weight on the truck.

It might carry it but if it is made with narrowed mobile home axles it may be illegal. Also those axle assemblies aren't made for real high speed or frequent hauling. An older and smaller low-boy would probably be a better choice. Dave
