I have a 485 NH skidloader that lost all hydraulic power. Its sitting on the side of a hill. I dont feel comfortable jacking it up or even trying to get it onto a trailer where its at. Is it safe to drag it(its on dirt) a couple hundred feet till its level? Any tips to get a skidloader on the trailer? I have a 65 Hp loader tractor that might be able to push it on...

A 610 isn't hydrostatic. Dave

It's probably OK to drag it a short distance. Most likely the wheels will just skid. You could check with the manual or a dealer to see if it has a way to disengage the hydrostat. I know some commercial mowers have a button you can push in to allow for towing. Once you get it on level ground, maybe you could jack it up and put some planks under it so it could be slid on the trailer. If you had a few pieces of pipe to put under it, you could roll it a lot easier. You'ld need some pretty strong planks though. Hope this helps. Dave
