Did some custom dozing with a D7E cat and some Excavating with a case 1280 excavator and was wondering what to charge since I am not a contractor in the Minnesota area?Dug some deep holes to bury a burnt building for them and covered them up again with the d7.Took some time to do since there was an extensive amount to bury. Thanks for any advice!!Dave A

110-120 an hour on the dozer here with a 500 minimum. Excavators are bringing at least 120 an hour with an 800 drop.

I think Marlowe meant DON'T spread it around. Did you have to haul your machines to the job? Add that in the price. I would think at least $75/hr. depending on if it's a good friend or not. If it's under $500 or $600 you could charge more and he'd still be getting a good deal. Dave
