On my D6B 44A Looks like the best fix for bolt bars is to A. make new and heat treat the bars after tapping. Or B. drill .625 5/8, dummy bolt to bar, with a heavy coarse 5/8 nut. Weld good on eather inside of bar channel, 7018 rod with flats even with side of bar. Use a 3 1/2 grade 8 bolt. Bolt toghter with a 3foot alum cheater well, one more battle won Thanks All

Yes the bolts are flush with the nuts, the nuts I have are heavy type, little over a inch thick. I calculated 3 inch but they were too short. Back to town I know the best places to get bolts in stock Gulf bolt supply Hey that heavy equp place is good to go... Till the next can of worms

Hi U9U9,
Sounds good.....I'm still at a loss for all that bolt length. Is that what it took for reasonably flush thread projection??

What's the next challenge??
