How do you tell if an undercarriage has had the pins and bushings turned without taking the tracks apart? Does the outer bushing that the sprocket rubs against get turned or the inner bushing inside the link?

I took one side apart and ther is an inner bushing at the master link the has not ben turned and the master pins is not worn. I can't tell about the other links.

Any suggestions on what to look for or measure?

The top side of the outside of the bushing is not worn and the bottom side is a little worn. The pitch wear measurement says it's time to have the bushings turned according to the book.

So what your saying is that the outside of teh link bushing gets turned? The master link has a inner bushing. Is this a separate piece? The master link looks like the side rails and the outer bushing is all one piece and only the inner bushing gets pressed out. This must no be the case if the outside gets turned.

both peices get turned. some time when the trck has been taken apart the master pin gets replaced I have replaced individual links so. check severl bushings and check both tracks. One of my customers gets one side turned and a year later the other.
