I WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING THIS DOZER AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME SOME INFO. ABOUT IT LIKE; THE YEAR IT WAS MADE, HOW MUCH IT WEIGHTS, ANY COMMON PROBLEMS,ANY INFORMATION AT ALL. HERE ARE SOME NUMBERS I FOUND ON THE DOZER.
TD181,35211,AND 1500. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

Your International ( Crawler ) TD-18 / 181 SERIAL NUMBER # 35211 was made Oct. 1955.
The TD-18 used the # 691 (D)/ 6 cylinders Engine.

The TD 18 was a pretty successful crawler, and there were a lot of them made, so there are new and used parts available. The heads tended to crack if it ran out of water: keep it full. If you keep the engine and all the gear boxes full of oil, it will run forever with an occasional clutch job. The engine has good torque characteristics and was pretty good on fuel.

International built the TD 18 from 1939 to 48,the TD 18A untill 1955, the TDA series 181 in 1955 & 56 and the TD18A series 182 from 1956 to 58. As tested in Nebraska in 56 It weighted 30,285 lbs and pulled 25,143 Lbs for 81.8 drawbar horsepower.
