The swing cylinder shaft on my MF220 broke above the gear. I was trying to find a replacement but it is no longer available from Massey Ferguson. Any Ideas on how I could get another shaft new or used would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

here's a link to a company that sells cylinder parts. You can get the rod and have a machine shop weld on an end and thread the other for your application.

there is a company named MINN-PAR that bought out all of MASSEY'S old industrial parts. Their phone number is 612-379-0606 . If they won't sell direct to you let me know , we are a MF dealer and can get parts from them.Or you may try Pittsburg tractor in PITTSBURG TEXAS or Cemar tractor salvage in MISSISSIPPI. These are both MF only salvage yards that we use alot. Good luck

Could it be welded or a new one made at a machine shop? Dave

It was welded and that weld broke. I think the hardend steel is difficult to weld.

Sorry, I didn't notice your second post. Done right it should be able to be welded. Go to a place that does heavy equipment repairs or a shop that specializes in welding. Dave
