I have a truble with the left side clutch on my Dozer D6 9U, I can just turn the dozer to one side I am not sure why it is not working properly.

Also I have another doubt about the blade, when I move up the blade it goes down by itself, it is not supposedly to stay in the same position?

Regards

Joe

You did not indicate to whether the blade dropping is cable controlled [am assuming it is]by either front or rear mounted unit,[or otherwise], in any case, post a response so solutions may be offered.

I make a mistake the d6 has 12 disc and 12 plate and should have 3 1/4 inchs tighness.

Yes, I did it, but it did not work

the steering clutch levers that are in the hydraulic control unit are too far of the pulling piston,

Also the nut that seats in the steering clutch release yoke is all the way down. not more adjustment is possible

I think the collar yoke is the problem because it is not pulling the lever of the hydraulic control, I mean it is not pulling the adjustment screw.

Also I noticed that the bearing cage is not fully seated against the presure plate, I dissambled everything to place the cage properlly and tie the retaining nut, after run the dozer the bearing cage was againg not fully seated on the presure plate.

When the stering cluch levers have 4 1/2 to 5 inchs free movement at top lever the adjustement is correct and if your adj. nut is way down you need to check the spring tension and you need 2 7/8 inchs tighness for the disc and plate.gemdozer@hotmail.com
