Anyone out there know how rare is an International T340 narrow gauge crawler, Industrial with a 4 1/2 foot dozer blade. Also how rare is a T340 Ag crawler with a 3 point hitch and belt pulley, I am looking at a couple and what are these two crawlers worth, is there a web site for these International crawlers or a collector of them out there with an insight on them. They are in very good shape and are neat little crawlers.

SOUNDS LIKE A T-4 LIKE T4 WAS SAYING. THE SMALLEST A T340 IN ANY CONFIGURATION COULD GO WAS 60" AND A 4.5 FOOT BLADE WOULD JUST BE TOO SMALL. T4 COULD TELL YOU MORE ABOUT THESE, I DO NOT KNOW IF A BLADE WAS FACTORY INSTALLED OR AFTERMARKET? ANYONE ELSE KNOW FORSURE? JL

T/TD-340 with optional 38" gauge and standard 10" shoes has overall width of 48". Standard 48" gauge and optional 12" shoes has overall width of 60". Your T-4 was available with 38", 48", or 68" tread which with standard 10" shoes would give it a maximum width of 78" in the wide tread option. The T-4 was also available in a low profile model in all three of these gauges.

Some of you have suggested that it is a T4, it is a T340, this crawler has a serial tag and model on it. It says T340 and on the tag, the front has emblems that say it also

Are you sure the narrow gauge is a 340? Never heard of one. May be T4 or T5, they look similar.

T-340/TD was available in 38" gauge or 48" gauge for same price. Also available in red & white or industrial yellow same price. TA, 3 point hitch, and lots other options were standard but had deduct prices if not wanted, example; TA not thaken -$186. 3 point hitch not taken -$312, IPTO not taken -$158, etc.

Hi Joe : If you find a good website on these machines, please let me know. A friend of mine just gave me a TD340 last week (It needs new clutches & some other stuff). Scroll down the list of postings in this forum, I asked just about the same question as you last week...a good guy named Sonny showed me how to find the operator's manual, parts catalog & service manual for my machine.

Joe, How are you liking PA?
Hope you and yours are doing well.
Anyway, try the Yahoo clubs pages, they are searchable and I have been on the Terratrac club page and seems that they are a nice group.
Some nice pictures and discussion page too.
Good luck,
George Gibby
