The brakes on my hoe seem to work fine however they start settling if holding constant pressure against them. I can pump them and get pressure again back at the top of the stroke but again after 5-7 seconds they start to settle. Same on both pedals. Do I need to replace seals in the brake valves? Thanks,

Tom

Get some jic caps that fit the brake valve fittings[ where the brake lines attach].. Disconnect the lines and install the caps..Now try the brakes..If they still creep down , the brake valve needs to be resealed and checked for worn check valves..If the brake pedals stay up , the pistons inside the final drive housings need to be resealed...
