On my dozer D6 9U how is the gear shift control lever, I know it has five forward and four reverse speeds,

What is the position for the speed selector lever in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th I mean what is the position for each speed? if someone can provide a drawing would be great

Joe

Remember not to try and shift while the machine is moving. You push the clutch lever away from you HARD, that stops the clutch from turning

If I remember how to post pictures on this site, this should be the shift pattern for your 9U. It will only go forward in 5th gear no matter what position the Johnson bar (forward-reverse lever) is in.

Thank you for your help, I have another question when must be used each speed? when to use the 1st, 2nd,...5th

If I want to move earth it must be on 1st speed? My question is because every time I want to change the speed the dozer stops to be able to change the speeds, so what is every speed used for?

Regards
