I'm working on the support trunnons that bolt to the outside of the sprocket to the frame rails. The ones that came on it were all broke up and welded to the frame rails. I got some other ones that were in good shape, bushing are good and one had a ring with tapered 1/4 bolts holding it on. So I got a 8inch o-ring put the ring on and then the o-ring took a short screw driver bolted the ring to the trunnon am I going in the wright direction, or is it a gasket should go between the ring and the trunnon? Thanks, Happy New Year!

You have it right..."O"ring is retained by the metal ring with the flat head machine screws...no gasket.
and a Happy New Year!!!
