hey guys, it has come to my attention it is time to do something with the dozers, 1 is a running good t340A with a drott 4 in 1,, :(

the other is a parts t340A with a 6 way blade, the parts tractor has the blade off, motor out but mostly complete, except the motor is froze up,

I bought them together, but it was a chore to get them both here, When I sell them my question , or opinions wanted is, should I sell the parts tractor the way it is , I will probably sell teh blade seperatly because it is already off, or is there a real need for parts for these?? I know there are some need for parts,, but everything being heavy , would be a killer on shipping,, and would have to be sold almost locally,,, I am pretty torn between what to do, plus the money now would be better than to string it along and probably end up with heavy parts that will only go to the scrap man,,[[ohh man thats a bad word}}

I am sorry to see it go , but i am just about done with what I bought it for, and it will only be one more piece of equipment that I will just keep around "just in case".. The backhoe and tractors will do most of what else I need to do to finish,,

also , I know I bought these around this time of year,, is there a better time to sell these,, I am t hinking now is a good time incase someone wants to do a little tinkering prior to putting her to work,, thanks for all the help and info , from this site now and in teh past, , pat

BTW these dozers are in NY

Pat: Where in NY are you located? I may be interested in buying both machines depending on price of course. Email me directly if you would and we can discuss this further. Thanks, Steve.

I would sell parts off of it. There are always people looking for bottom parts like sprockets, rollers, etc., in case yours are any good. But other parts would probably also be of interest to people who would have no interest in buying and moving a whole dead machine. A good description of the machine's configuration, photos, and condition would be key, and you might offer people the option to remove the parts themselves to save money. Set up your own webpage to post the info and track the parts removed or remaining. A simple pricing method would also help move the parts.

hi charlie, I did in fact think that very thing, about making a web page and posting them somewhere?? just not sure where I could post it to get some traffic,,, I will have to look into it further I guess,, there are still a lot of good parts on it, so I figure it would keep a few machines going,, just everything being so heavy is what keeps me wondering,, but then again I have bought stuff that was heavy and just figured in shipping with my buy it price in mind, I bet we all do that,, thansk again, pat,,

I would have to look once the weather gets a bit better, , I believe they looked to be in good condition, I had the dozer under power at one time and the acted like they should, do you need the whole track assembly with the pads and all? I will check it for you as soon as I can,
