Cant tell you much about em, Ran one a few times back in the mid 70s and it was at least 10 yrs or more old then. All the ones I ever saw were in the 10-15 ton range, similar in design to the Bantams and Sergeant's of the time, all manual friction and brake controls, the one I ran had a small flat-head 6cyl. cont. with a burnt valve, I think, memory's shorter than---- well, you know....Don

Oddly enough, nothing on Little Giant Crane & Shovel in my HD/Off-Road parts catalogs.
Looks like a division of Avis now, along with Badger and Burro, which are listed; don't know why Little Giant isn't included (have a Little Giant Wisc-powered sweeper and a DD-powered "tractor", but no crane/shovel).
Nice little website littlegiantcorp.com.
Might turn up some stories at stripmine.org or one of the heavy eqpmt sites (is hcea.net still down?).
