A question on Tractor Talk got me to wondering- who now owns/makes Case construction equipment? Did Fiat buy that part of Case when they bought CaseIH from Tenneco(now known as El Paso}?

you havent been around any new holland or case equipment lately.

dozers are same machine wheel loaders are same machine excavotors are now same machine.... koblecos skid steers loaders share a common engine were told backhoes are going to be built on a common platform

dont believe me..... .. research it yourself. I work in new holland construction dealer and some of our other branches are case.

That is interesting...I had no idea case and NH was tied together. I knew that at one time, NH and Deere skid steers were virtually identical, with that said, is Deere still affiliated with NH, case as well? Hmmmm...

As far as I know Case merged with New Holland in 1999 and is now CNH Global,Case CE makes the construction equipment and Case IH the ag equipment while New Holland makes its own brand.
