Looking to buy a small crawler with 6 way blade for around the farm, and Komatsu D-20/D-21 and Mitsubishi BD2 series seem about the right size and price. Is the D-21 Komatsu just a later version of the the D-20, or is there some substantial difference between them (weight, horsepower, etc.)? Anyone have a preference between the K and the M? How do the Power Shift's stack up, and is either one "fragile"? Thanks for any replies.

Hi Mike
I got the older D21 and it does really well.
No complaints and am happy I got it. Home use in clearing land, etc....

The D21 is a Powershift,the D20 is Manual gears.
The Mits are cheaper, but harder to get parts for....although there are Mits parts suppliers in the USA.The Mits BD2 are made in both powershift & manual models...the manuals are more common.
If you buy the BD2, I may help with parts.
