I just posted the picture over in the Photo Gallery of this CASE 310 crawler/loader.

It doesn't have the S/N tag on the left tool box like others that I've seen. It originally had a D-188 diesel engine. It has the black stripe hood with the loader frame's front brace/guard wrapping up and over the nose piece. The rear sprockets are solid rather than spoked (although these could be replacements). The foot accelerator pedal is hinged at the bottom rather than pivoting from high on the side frame like older models. The fuel tank is on the back of the seat rather than being under the seat like older versions. The tool boxes are longer by the same amount as the thickness of the fuel tank. It has the end mounted front loader bucket, but the cross piece for the bucket linkage is offset to clear over the brace/guard over the nose.

I had a 310D (1960) that had the open top frame at the front and had a bolt-in cross brace that wrapped around the front of the nose piece just below the headlights. This one seems to be a newer version.

I've seen 310G's and they have the loader buckets that have the mounts on the back side of the buckets rather than on the ends as this one.

What version and approximate year is it? Is it a 310E or 310F?

Is the S/N stamped somewhere on the crawler?

Ken....The serial # should be stamped on the top of the left frame rail(as you're sitting on it), along the rear of the engine block. wire wheel it and rub some chalk on it and wipe off.
