This in reference to the unidentified crawler posted just below.

I'm going to do some work on the undercarriages and the tracks will have to be removed. My other crawlers had an extra long master link pin with a cross pin driven through each end. This one doesn't have the extended pins.

All that I could find was one pin per track has what appears to be a center drill in each end of the pins.

How are these master pins removed? Are the ones with the center drill in each end the master link pins? If not, I've not found any other pin that has any distinguishing difference.

The pin with the countersunk hole is the master pin. line it uip toward the bottom of the sprocket get you a punch a little smaller than the pin weld a long handle on it get some one to hold the punch in place by the handle and beat the pin out use no smaller than a 16 lb. sledge. to small of a hammer will not drive the pin out but will smash the end of the pin and swell it up tighter.Do not take the pad off for easy access if you do you will drive the pin out of the outside link but the inside link will spread and bind the pin. Sounds like you have the later model 350 chains. If you're an old Grand Funk Railroad fan its easy to remember how the Master pins go in, "inside out". If the countersink is showing on the outside and the chains are Case, then they were installed correctly so get the ol' 20 pounder out and a long pin and punch that puppy out towards the inside, unless of course you have one of those fancy OTC hydraulic presses, then you'll also need a 4 oz ball peen. Its amazing what force can be generated with a hyd press and a couple of strategic taps with that ball peen. Good luck.
