I just got a 79-80 750 series backhoe attachment,
On the left footplate theres something sticking up that your foot can press down? its connected to a valve and a pressure hose going toward the tractor. can some one explain what this is for as of now no manuals on order just a parts breakdown for the swing cyl. Thanks

Sounds like that machine was plumbed for hammer or tamper hydraulics , or maybe extenda-hoe..Depending on if aftermarket installation or factory installation...
