waltmo

thanks for the advice on removing the gearbox from my machine.

now that i have got the box out i have discoverd where my problem lies. i may not have explained before but the shuttle box was not selecting any gear.
Anyway it turns out that the shuttle selector fork has snapped and i am undecided as what to do next.

i can possibly do the following.

1. weld up the original fork

2. Make up a knew selector fork myself. (out somthing like stainless steel because this is quite a tough steel and dont think it would break to easily in this scenario).

3. try and find a replacement either new or seconedhand.( i am struggleing with this a little as there are not many breakers of these machines in the uk and it appears this part is no longer available with varius parts suppliers)

any opinions on what i should do for the best would be greatley appreciated and if anybody knows of any1 breaking these machines in the uk with this part it would be of great help (or anywhere else in the world for that matter)

the part number is 975570M91
Thanks in advance
Karl

Karl,
According to my manual you have to split the tracks and more the transmission and the rest of the rear end to the back so the transmission will clear.
