I have an International 500 dozer my father once owned. I am thinking about restoring. The model #500D236 , serial#H-3656s and engine # 3040912R4. Can anyone tell me the year of this machine and does anyone have manuals for it. The machine has been idle for about 7 years. I believe the main clutch went which caused it to sit. I have cleaned up the fuel system and change the oil and filter. I have good fuel delivery to the injectors but cannot seem to get the engine started. Against my better judgement I gave it a small spray of Quick start. It did start for a couple of seconds but on second attempt this doesn't work. I do not want to continue using this. Any one have any suggestions?

Your International "500(D)" S# H 3656 was made in 1968 at the IH Plant in Hamilton. Ontario, Canada.
Here is the listing for the 500 Series;
500 and 500(D)----- - 1965 to 1969 500C and 500C(D) ---- 1970 to 1974 500F and 500E(D) ---- 1975 to 1976

Did you purge the fuel lines of the air in the
lines?
