Nick I got an engine for mine from Clapp brothers 2 years ago. They were parting out several hd6's at that time. They are in eastern Ill and I think they are advertizers on the opening page of this site.

I had my radiator recored by a radiator shop on my HD11. It cost 1ooo dollars. I punched a whole in mine with a tree limb and tried to sodder the hole and the core was so thin it just kept getting new pin holes, so make sure if you get one from a salvage yard to have it pressure checked. My radiator was also 50 years old, so I expected to have a problem.

Try Construction Equipment parts in Goldston, NC. They have a pretty good selection of parted out machines or can probably find one for you if they don"t have one. Good luck.
