im looking at a 2244 crawler for sale, it needs rebuilt but it has a blade and rippers, there asking 2500 does anyone have a picture of one of these dozers? it is a ways away and i dont want to wast the trip. thanks, tim

Tim,
They are a good little machine,but as Marlowe says,parts are hard to get .I have 2 of them dismantled for parts here,if you need them.
Test the steering,to ensure the clutches are working well.Also ensure the transmission gear change is good.The 3-152 Perky engine is a good worker & not hard to get parts for.
My advice...don't buy over the phone.Go check it out!

what needs rebuilding? most parts are hard to find and some are just plane gone and all are very expensive
