My friend has a Case D450 crawler whichworks fine when the outside temperature is above 0 degrees celcius. But when the temperature drops below 0 degrees and colder the drive does not work.Seems it hibernates in cold weather.Any Ideas as to what is going on.

thanks Stan

I'd guess that the hydraulic (drive) oil is contaminated with water. I'd change out the oil. Be sure to clean the screen filter that sits on the bulkhead and has the 2 inch diameter hose that feeds the charge pump.

Are the gauges working? Do they show pressure?

Best of luck,
John
