Hello, These are the numbers on the tag attached to the hood. Tractor# C554072, Model# KD212K, Engine# 7J200. I know what a few of the digits in the model # mean, but some I don"t. Some info that I have is that it was built Oct. 17, 1977 in Romeo Mich.
I don"t know what the K means in the model#, but I believe it is maybe the series of the tractor?
The D means it is industrial.
I don"t know what the 2 means.
The 1 means diesel vertical exhaust.
The 2 means pto trans.
The K means 6x4 manual trans.
If someone can clue me in on the missing info or supply any additional info that would be greatly appreciated. I"m looking to buy parts, but most places are scarce about a 420, it may belong to another family - 445?
Thanks for your time,
Dave
