D3 transmission problem

I see on Ebay another D3 with tranny problems,It seem they are ok till they get warmed up.Does any one know what the problem is?Is there a model D3 that did not have this problem.

One of my customers has a 3...It was down on oil pressure..I pulled the top cover off and took the pump out..It was scored to "beat the band".. I installed a new pump[ at around $1000.00].He's been using it for over a year now, it works fine other than the linkage is all loose..Has neutral gate and first and second gears , but third gear is out of reach of the linkage..
