We recently purchased a Ditch Witch V30 and now need information on the machine. Do you know where we can get an owners manual and parts manualfor this machine? My husband needs to work on the brakes and would like the manual for this and future reference.

Go to your nearest NAPA store and get Ford Falcan brake parts which are the same only less cost

The V30 that I had used the same brake shoes, drums, and wheel cylinders as a 40's model Ford car - not the pickup, just the cars. Guys at the Ditch Witch dealership here told me that they were built with surplus parts bought from Ford.

I know NAPA can get shoes and cylinders with no problem. They SHOULD have a listing for the V30 (it will be in a book, so get the most knowledgeable counterman there).

They should, also, be able to get the master cylinders. That is what they are famous for having problems with.

Hope this helps,
Dale(MO)

Holy Moley!! They think a lot of these, don"t they??? I was going to mention that Ditch Witch is still in business and has a website, then just out of curiousity checked EBay...there is one, for 50--count"em--50 dollars, American money (plus shipping, probably)...Lord knows what they"d want for a new one...
Try running the archives here and on sites like HCEA and the const eqpmt forum on tractorbynet for someone who might have a used one. Good luck!.
