I have noticed also in the clutch of the right side that it is dry in the inside and the left side there is a lot of oil Im not sure where this oil come from? it got be with oil or must be dry in the inside.

I have adjust the brake and it did not work, some one can help?

Regards

Joe

These stering cluch are dry and you have to take off the plug under the housing stering cluch left side and if it not leaking you have to instaled a screwdriver in the hole it should be full dirt.

I have a dozer same age..If you fill that area in which the brakes are loacated, with kerosene and drive it back and forth several times, pulling the steering clutch lever, then draining the area. Do this 3-4 times and the next day see if it made a difference..washing the brake belt or band will help some. You must have a transmission seal on the main drive in the transmission that is leaking..no much as you know to do except put in a new bearing and seal. The area around the brake band should be relatively dry..
