just wondering if the tracks, tranny, and possibly the engine from a jd 350 gas dozer(1967)
would fit on a jd 350c diesel?

As far as I recall - A reverser from an early 350 is different than later 350s since it uses a different input shaft and clutch-disk-drive.

A transmission from early 350s will fit (I think) a 350C but has reverse - whereas in a 350C reverse is left out. But, double-check with JD Parts on-line and see if the part numbers match for the replacement trans cases - that way you know for sure. Since the 350C is the first to have wet steering clutches - the clutch housings are different - but I believe the trans case is the same (but check #s).

Tracks will fit and so will the engine with some mods. Early rollers had grease fittings, C rollers were sealed but all use the same bolt pattern. Early tracks had headed master-pins, and C tracks are headless.

Although any of the 350 engines will bolt in - an early 350 engine - gas or diesel - will have different line hookups, and early ones have a different flywheel since a clutch-disk is used for the torsional isolator. Also early diesels are 152s and some later diesels are 164s with more power.
