I have have one located in Oregon that is one owner, been on orchard, Holt blade been painted several year back, poor paint job, runs good about 75% tracks, been asking $5500.00 I made offer $4,000.00 they refused. I feel $4,000.00 is average price on good 5U model.

I just purchased a 1959 D-2 with a cat 6-way blade. It was a one owner with 1900 hours, elect start on the pony motor full skid plate live pto original paint and it needs some tender loving care but the rollers and tracks are in great shape. the blade is like new. needs a new battery and it is ready to go. I do need a new seat for it since someone has put a odd seat in it. i paid 5000 for it and feel a got a great price.

$7000 was paid recently for a 1951 5U in tip-top shape with a 2-way blade and electric start pony. Had low hours, complete sheet metal straight with good and original paint and a like-new under carridge. I've also seen them in the $1000 region with their only claim to fame being that the motor wasn't stuck. Around here, a usable ones sell for $4000 to $5000.

Value depends on the model, region of the country and the condition.
