I recently saw a photo of a Farmall with W-6 decals on the side of the hood and I FELL IN LOVE! I can't seem to find any info on a W-6. Was this acutally a tractor produced, or am I looking for the wrong tractor.

I'd love to know about the W-6 if it exists... Production numbers, years made, any specs that anyone knows.

Anyone selling one?

Thanks for the info!

Yes, I am selling a farmall W6. It still works. Up until last year we still used it. Now we have a new tractor with a 3 point hitch. My husband tells me that the W6 is an M from the seat up and a W6 from the seat back. If your interested e-mail me back. Make me an offer, I might take it.

TECHNICALLY,its a McCormick Deering W-6,but I call them Farmalls too.Good tractor to have.Biggest problem I have found on the W series is the lack of sheetmetal out there for them.Engune and tranny parts are mostly the same with exception to some parts.

Look through the Research & Info on the left.

The W series tractors were wide front "Wheatland" tractors with non-adjustable front axles. W-4 and Farmall H share the same engine, W-6 and the M are the same engine, basically. The W-9 had no row-crop counterpart. Lots of W-6's around, fewer W-4's. Little W-4's are cute.

Orchard tractors, O-4 and O-6 were also produced.

The difference in the os's was the hand clutch verses a foot clutch on the w's...
