Just wanted to let y'all know, I joined the Red Fraternity today. I bought a 1941 M with narrow front and Behlens aftermarket power steering here in east Tennessee. I'll put it in the registry tomorrow and will post some pictures as soon as possible. I'll probably be asking all kinds of pestering questions of some of you "old hands" as I go. Thanks in advance for putting up with some of the more stupid ones.

Welcome to the group. The 41 M is a good tractor. Easy to maintain. Mine is a '41 too. What's the serial number? I may have its sister.

I'm located in Washburn, TN which is about 40 miles NNE of Knoxville. We have 40 acres of which about 10-12 is pasture and the rest wooded. The pasture is currently used by my neighbor across the road for his cattle and I help care for them when we are here and he is out of town. I work in Huntsville, AL as Safety & Security Director for the City of Huntsville Utilities and will retire in 14 months and then we will live here full time. We have an apartment in Huntsville for the time being and spend about two long weekends a month and all holidays here at the farm. When I post some tractor pictures tomorrow, I'll also post some pics of the farm.

Bama Red, Congrats on the '41 M. You will enjoy it! Ask away and will try to help where I can. My M is a '48 and I grew up on a '41 some umpteen years ago.//FB

That's right! Tazewell is less than 10 miles from me. We're not here full time yet, but the next time you come down, e-mail me and maybe we can get together.
