I would like to know how to wire the generator and voltage regulator on my Farmall Cub. I have two wires coming from the wiring harness. One appears to be connected to the amp gage and the other to the light switch. I am not sure how to connect these wires to the generator and/or regulator.

third party image

This one's from the A/B manual. If your Cub has a 4-position light switch it will be wired the same. (Thank's to Farmer Bob for scanning this image!)

I believe it is a four position light switch.

I'll email you a picture shortly. I can't get the picture tag to work from my geocities site. The wire on the ampmeter post goes to the "bat" terminal on your voltage regulator. The wire that is hooked to that lower resistor goes to the "field" terminal on your generator. The 4 positon switch is low charge, high charge, dim lights, bright lights.
