A NON SUPER A will be just as good minus the hy for lifting the mower the hand lift works fine you can get either a 59 inch of a 72 the 72 is a left hand throw want to drive them from the belt pulley

Remember its all what you want a Tractor to
do. Those little tracors are great, and of
course you could limit yourself if you want
a big job done. But take a look at my Super
A, its a little gem. You will see a before
picture and then several after pics. If I
had to do it all over again, I certainly wouldn't
change my mind. Only thing I had to due with my
is all new wiring, lights, clutch, and a few
other things. It runs great!

No good or bad years. What counts is how much use it has had. All Super As have hydraulics with rockshaft arms. Rare to find one with a remote hydraulic set up, although it was an option and can be done. I guess you are aware the PTO is offset, so some implements may have hook up problems, especially if you are going to install a 3 point and use 3 point stuff. If you want a belly mower, and you find a Super A without one, you can buy a new Woods brand mower for it. That will be around $1500. You need to have the belt pulley attachemtn on the Super A to run the Woods. Most have that.

over in the picture ad's or Classified on this site or in your local paper. But get ready to spend some real cash, Super A's with all that are going for a real high price these days up words to $3500 or more if they are in good shape. Don't get fooled buy someone that has put a paint job on one and said it's restored, ask for receipts reguarding engine work. There is an article in the article archives what tells you what to look for when buying if this is your first tractor.
