Does anyone know what years the B276 was made? This is a Bristish-made with a BC144A four- cylinder gas engine. I just purchased it with a 420 front blade. Any good source of information would be helpful. Thanks.

They were sold in Canada from 1968 to 1970. They were a cheaper version of the slightly more powerful 434 (produced from 1966 to 1970. The 276 replaced the old B275

What country do you live in? In the US the transmission and hydraulic parts are the same as a 424, 444. Even more parts are common to the 354, 364, or 384. If you live in Canada, Europe or Australia, most parts should be available from your local Case IH dealer. The only parts not available anymore is the sheet metal and other slow moving parts

It's as I suspected. I would bet my bottom dollar your tractor was originally from Ontario and was shipped into New York by a tractor jockey. The B276 was never originally sold in the States. There was a considerable number of them sold just west of you along the Lake Erie shoreline. In fact Norfolk County had a whole pile of them that were originally sold by the IH dealer in Simcoe Ontario. About a year and a half ago there were several of them sold at a tractor auction not far from here. I suspect the auctioneer bought them on a used equipment clearance sale by the county. A good source of parts for these ones is Richards in Stouffville, Ontario. Their number is 905-640-3830. They are a CaseIH dealer and they specialize in hard to find IH parts. They are located about 20 miles north of Toronto just off Hwy 48 and their advertizement says they ship daily by UPS.

You're absolutely right! I located a small sticker under the sheetmetal that indicated it was from a Norfolk Cooperative in Canada. Thanks for all the assistance/information including a good lead on a source of parts. My restoration begins!

Yeh and I would also bet that it probably came from Bryan Farm Supply in Puslinch, Ontario. They are a big used tractor dealer here in Ontario and had several B276's last year in one of their spring auctions. I noted they all had the Norfolk Coop in Simcoe dealer tags on them. Simcoe is about 60 miles west of you. There is still a Case IH dealer there(now called Norfolk Tractor).

Any idea what the horsepoer would be for the B276. I'm guessing somewhere in the 35-38hp range. Also, rumor has it that Mahindra parts may be interchangeable?
