I just won an auction on the YT Mag auction site for a 3 pt hitch from this fellow. Now you guys are making me wonder if I should send the money? Is there any guarantee I will get my part? I have used e-bay hundreds of times and they stand behind there sales.

What do you guys think?

Brent, For what it's worth, I have bought many parts from this guy, Troy Oliver, and not the slightest hint of a problem. In fact I just got a brake adjuster from him today in the mail. Great price and great service. Dick in Vermont

I was brought up to trust EVERYBODY until I had a reason not to, that's why I asked. When I hear someone else has been burned it makes me wonder. If I heard a lot of positives one could overlook the negative comment or too. I checked his feedback under his old and new names and it was inconclusive to me, both +'s and -'s. Maybe I should use an escrow service as suggested on the auction site?

Just send him a postal money order. That way, if you don't get your part, you can get him for mail fraud. I'm like you... I was raised to trust everyone unless something led me to do otherwise. I feel that 90% of people are honest, but there's always a few to ruin it for others. My $.02
