Today I had the old H out,and me and my son were using her to pull out some trees, probably 12" or so around.A few of them were stubborn,so we tried digging around the trunks, and then trying to pull, still no luck. Then I spun the H around and gave them old trees a couple of shots with the loader about 2' up and rehooked,RIPPED them right out then!So far I am yet to find something that the H can't handle,or get done.Man,what a machine!!

A bud of mine stumped a bunch of trees to clear a garden plot with his MF135. A year or so later
I split that trator at every seam to replace the battered drive train. Cost him nearly $1500 in
gears and such. Trees can be tough on tractors.

Bill be VERY CAREFULL when using that loader to knock over trees. If you have one that you have cut near the base, NEVER use the loader to push it over. That tree could easily snap at the cutting and double over on top of you.

The trees were only 10' or so tall, just some scrub junk trees down by the ditch, any bigger than that and I would have called a good friend of mine.He has a Husqavarna chainsaw with a 36" bar on it,and loves to get it out and play.I was just really impressed with the grunt that the H has, with 1 set of wheel weights, and, loaded tires I had very little wheel spin, she just hunkerd down and pulled!

In November of 1990, we had a real warm week in Indiana. I was at the farm that week ripping out fence with the H and the New Idea loader. I cut the wire at 20 foot intervals, select ram speed and rammed into the fence. I dragged the wire up to the hill. Now this fence wire had poison ivy with 2 inch trunks every 6 inches!!

especially elm trees or any other tree thats dead, They will snap off so fast it ain't even funny, then you are SOL. Ever see a dozer pushing trees without a brushcab? Trust me, they are used more than you think.
