I personly would go fo the single front wheel. But I like the ones that are not quite as common. At $1000 ea. and if they run good and the tires are decsant they are priced very reasanible, at least in my area. Whichever on you chose though I believe you will be pleased with. If you are going to put a loader on it you might want the 47'. I cannot imagine how much trouble it would be to change a flat on the single with a loader on it. I'm dreading changing the single on my F-12 this spring. Well good luck and happy buying.

And, I've been told that the single front steers easier!
No verification on this, however so you might want to try both.
One drawback to the single front is when you have a flat they are harder to remove.

Bill if the rubber is good, either machine would be fine. I personally would opt for the 1947. If you have a need for the cultivators then the 44/45 might be your best option. The 44/45 with the single wheel is not as common as the standard dual wheels.

Both. This choice will eliminate the very difficult but inevitable question of, "What should I buy for my second tractor?"
