Weather was nice today, painted the tractor with PPG concept urethane over the previously applied PPG epoxy primer. It went on good, no runs, plenty good enough for a tractor. Amazing how much paint it takes for these old ones with all the nooks and crannies. Going to buy new rims tomorrow for the front. Now the engine comes apart for rings and valves and whatever else it needs.

Wasn't it kind of dumb to paint it when your gonna have to tear it apart to replace the bearings you ruined by sand blasting? JUST KIDDING, looks good, when you get it done you can do my H next, I won't even charge ya for doing it for me.

That was the plan in the first place, to paint it first, so any sand that got in the rocker cover could be removed. I am sure there is none in the bearings. How could sand get in the clutch housing, past the clutch, and into the bearings? Anyway, folks who are afraid of sand should never take their tractor into the field. Now i gotta find a radiator that holds water.
