Can anybody give me the pro's & con's of the single front wheel "trike" configuration on the Farmall H? I have not seen very many that way but I am buying one that is.

Also, by '47, were most tractors electric starts or were they still manufacturing hand cranks?

Thanks for the help! When I finally get it home, I'll post some pictures.

I have a '56 Farmall 100; it has the electric starting and the hand crank.

Thanks for the reply. Have you ever had to use the crank? I have read horror stories of guys getting arms broken using them. Any truth to them?

PRO only 1 wheel to worry about. easier steering. worth more than 2 wheel nf.
CON less strong. less stability.
