I'm restoring a 1926 10-20 which runs but leaks oil out the bell housing. I've been told there is a "cork" in the flywheel to plug a hole which is drilled to lubricate the pilot bearing, (apparently thru the crankshaft)and this cork could be missing or rotted out. Is this true or should I plan on replacing the rear main seal? If true, would I still have to remove the flywheel to replace the cork? Thanks in advance.
