My father is in the process of restoring a Farmall F-20 (with factory installed electric starter)and isn't sure what size tires originally came on the tractor. 11.2-28, 12.4-28, 13.6-28, 14.9-28, or 16.9-28? He thinks it is the 14.9-28, but isn't sure. If anyone knows or can help us find out, we'd appreciate it!! He's a stickler for authencity !! :) thanks

Hi Beth Ive got an F-20 i'm restoring with 12.4-28s I
know the set up on the tractor has a lot to do
with the size. Mine is a low profile tractor so it
sits lower than usual. (wheels are set lower and
not as high as some others ive seen. Hope this helps

Most of the F-20 Farmalls I was around came with the 11.2-36 tires. I thought this was the size used on the F-20s that were factory equipped with rubber tires as well as the changed over from steel tractors.

I would be surprised if any of those sizes were available in the 30s. I suggest calling Miller, the tire guy who advertises on this site, and ask him. He seems to know what is correct for most models.
