Just came home from a trip to Mt. Pleasant for the Red Power Roundup. I really enjoyed it very much. I kind of wondered if I was painting my tractor as well as it should be done and looking at the tractors that were there, I decided I am doing ok. Brought home many names, e-mail addresses and web sites about places to get parts. Talked to several people who restored their tractors and looked over a few Farmall 400's so I am more sure about how to put mine back together. (My 400 was in a tornado and pretty well messed up before I got it.) I even was able to talk with people about possibly restoring my dad's 67 International pickup. It was a very good experience for me and I recommend going at least once.

Yup, I just got back too. I was also looking at the paint jobs as well as decal placments. You can really tell the ones that have been cleaned well, and the ones with the real quick paint jobs. I also noticed that(00-50 series mainly) there was not one with a complete set of warning-caution decals. Sat. was the first time I had ever heard a 1468 V-8 run, the guy had it idleing on 4 and then wound it up on all 8, boy did that ever sound good!It was also interesting to see all of the NOS parts and promotional items as well as original manuals and such things. Do believe I'll make plans for the one next year in IL.

Was that the 1468 that was beside the hydro 86 and 560 demo? If so we got him to fire it up around 11:30 saturday night and the cops drove through not two minutes after he shut it off. You can really tell about the paint jobs, and which tractors just sit in the shed when they go home.

Nope it wasn't that one, it was the one over by the 4300, 806, 1206, Super HTA and the White 1066.
